Oregon wood sorrel (sourgrass, oxalis) flanks the short but scenic trail to Butte Creek Falls and its more photogenic sibling Upper Butte Creek Falls. Soft light filtering through the forest canopy overhead offered a fine intimate study highlighting the form and fine texture of this marvelously green ground cover.
