The human psyche never ceases to amaze me. As I was setting up my camera to shoot a composition, this gentleman gave me a quick glance as he walked past and then promptly scrambled down the path to the falls directly in front of me. No hi how are you doing or what are you up to or will I get in your shot (he did, obviously). He made his way to the base of the falls, shot a quick look skyward with hands on hips, then tended to his cell phone the remainder of his time there. I suppose I shouldn’t be too hard on the guy—after all, who could possibly be bothered with the trivialities of nature when the grandeur of our electronic devices demand our ministration?
