A brigade of false lily of the valley (Maianthemum dilatatum) breaks through a cover of wood sorrel (Oxalis oregana) along the Butte Creek Falls Trail. I was drawn to the fortuitous arrangement of the triumvirate of false lily leaves aligned at each lobe of the central sorrel and attempted to emphasize their presence amongst their kin ever so so slightly in post-processing.
