I’m so grateful that I finally get to say these words to you, my wife, my best friend, and now at long last the amazing mother everyone knew you’d become. Thank you for the gift of Noah, his untempered squeals and shrieks and giggles of glee, his sheer delight in smelling daphnes and orange blossoms, and making me into the father I once thought I’d never be blessed to become. And may one day Noah come to love planting flowers alongside you as much as he enjoys plucking them and cramming them into his mouth. He couldn’t have asked for a better head gardener to guide his apprenticeship than his beautiful mama. Happy Mother’s Day, Ashley. We love you!
