Quickie upload of the sturgeon moon and Mt. Hood from Jonsrud Viewpoint August 20, 2013. Due to dense haze on the horizon from nearby wildfires, the moon only came into full view precisely where you see it here. I was hoping it was going to hug the mountain a bit closer and there'd be a bit more action in the sky, but c'est la vie. Still, it was fun shootin' with TJ Thorne and his dare-devil, (eventually) bloody-lipped kid. Yes, the kid was shootin' heat himself with his Fisher-Price toy camera, and I was actually jealous that my camera couldn't make the same cool noises his did. But at least my iPhone's bigger than his dad's iPhone. BOOM.
